  • Q1: What is this SafeTravelPass?

    All Malaysians and Non-Malaysians (foreigners) are required to register with TracAPM and make early payment for quarantine and PCR test before travel.

    SafeTravelPass (STP) (

    SafeTravelPass is travellers registration, COVID-19 tests and quarantine accommodation arrangement service approved by government of Malaysia. This service is open to both Malaysians and non-Malaysians, to achieve safe, fast and convenient experience for travellers coming into Malaysia. Upon registration and completion of payment, travellers will be provided with the TracAPM QR code that is used by Government of Malaysia for entry verification.

    Travellers can make online payment, and Cash-on-Arrival service is provided for government payments upon arrival in Malaysia.

    Travellers can register or download mobile application (iOS, Android, Huawei) before coming to Malaysia, or at the Point of Arrival at all borders including KLIA and KLIA2 in Malaysia.

    Yes at both KLIA and KLIA2, SafeTravelPass is an easy way for Inbound Travellers, Malaysian citizens, Permanent Residents, and Foreign Travellers entry into Malaysia efficiently and without much hassle.

  • Q3: When I should make payment and what type of payment do you accept?

    SafeTravelPass facilitate government process in borders and airports including value-added services such as quarantine hotel bookings. Travellers are required pay to relevant government agencies upon arrival.

  • Q4: If I had made payment via Online, where do I proceed upon arrival in KLIA or KLIA2?

    Upon your arrival at KLIA or KLIA2, please proceed to a SafeTravelPass or TracAPM kiosk with people of SafeTravelPass and we will assist you to proceed for registration for screening tests as well as arranging transportation to your choice of quarantine hotel.

  • Q5: I may arrive in Malaysia with a large group, will I be able to proceed?

    Yes, please visit our portal SafeTravelPass ( and complete your registration prior to your arrival to Malaysia to avoid congestions at KLIA and KLIA2.

  • Q7: How long is the duration of the quarantine and how much it costs?

    Inbound Travellers will undergo a 10-days quarantine and the charges are as below:

    Inbound travellers who shown proof of Covid-19 PCR tests did within 3 days before arrival (equivalent convenient as per uploaded to your Tracvirus App), is subject to request for 7 days quarantine special consideration.

    Certain countries are required mandatory 14 days quarantine. Please check with your local embassy for latest update.

  • Q8: What should I do when I arrive in KLIA or KLIA2?

    Please look for our officers from SafeTravelPass or TracAPM and kindly show your registration, booking, and payment receipt. If you have not made any prior bookings or payments online, we will assist you to register at our kiosk.
